Megamillions Scandal McDonald's Employees in Maryland Are Outraged!!! Tube. Duration : 3.62 Mins.

Employees at a McDonald's in Maryland are outraged at a co-worker who claims she won a 5million Mega Millions jackpot which she is not planning on sharing - despite the fact they had pooled their money for tickets. Workers at the fast food outlet bought a number of tickets together for the biggest lottery in world history but Mirlande Wilson, 37, claims she separately bought one of the three tickets nationwide that will split a record 6 million payout. 'We had a group plan, but I went and played by myself. [The 'winning' ticket] wasn't on the group plan,' Wilson told The New York Post.

I ordered a parcel from the uk and it still hasn't arrived after double the specified delivery time?

I ordered it 2 weeks ago today and it was specified as taking 4-6 days. ( i live in aus) i also used this http://www1.auspost.com.au/gc/ and it said it shouldve arrived last friday. I spent $130 on this so its really important i find out a quick solution and the seller is unable to give a refund for 28 days. What is best to do in this situation?I ordered a parcel from the uk and it still hasn't arrived after double the specified delivery time?
Mailing times are always longer at Christmas, that's why we're always being told to post early! There will be a huge volume of mail coming from the UK and it all needs to be checked by Australian Quarantine before going into the mail system so expect some delays there. Plus Australia Post were on strike yesterday which doesn't help.

Expecting the package to get here in 4-6 days at this time of year was overly optimistic. A more realistic timeframe would be 2 to 3 weeks. If you haven't received it after 3 weeks contact the sender. I ordered something from Canada three weeks ago, and I honestly don't expect to see it until the New Year.

The link you gave is simply Australia Post's 'expected date calculator', not a guarantee that an item will arrive on a specified date.
Dunno, but I live in the UK and I can tell you that the postal system here is in crisis with loads of delayed mail piled up in sorting offices.I ordered a parcel from the uk and it still hasn't arrived after double the specified delivery time?
I think you'll find that Australia Post is on strike, nothing you can do about it I don't think. I hope it arrives for you before christmas.
Well the seller won't be able to do anything about it if the post lost it.

You should contact them and tell them if it still doesn't arrive by next week.I ordered a parcel from the uk and it still hasn't arrived after double the specified delivery time?
They cheated you. Call the company and threaten that you will sue them for false delivery and item.
Coo-ee! Maybe the postman left it at the billabong, and the bloody dingos got it!!
You either got ripped off, or there is a major lag: Holiday, shipping problem, wrong address, and kept..

Post Offices Sell Semi-Postal Stamp Supporting Breast Cancer Research

To contact us Click HERE

Few things reach as many Americans each day as the U.S. Mail --- and postage stamps provide an opportunity to raise money and awareness in support of important social issues.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and South Florida postal employees are reminding their customers that the 55-cent Breast Cancer Research semi-postal stamp covers First-Class Mail postage and generates funds for this important cause.
Since 1998, the Postal Service has been selling the Breast Cancer Research stamp. Portions of the proceeds from the sale of this stamp help underwrite the research effort to find a cure for the disease. To date, nationwide the Postal Service has sold almost 940 million semi-postal stamps, raising $75 million for research.
The stamp features artwork of a mythical "goddess of the hunt" and is available at your local Post Office. For a list of South Florida Post Office locations, visit usps.com.
According to the American Cancer Society, about one in eight women in the United States --- 12 percent --- will develop invasive breast cancer. However, more women are undergoing mammograms to detect the disease in its earliest stages, and breast cancer deaths are on the decline.

Chesbro's Timber Bill

The Times- Standard reports Wes Chesbro was one of the main proponents of the recently passed 1% tax on lumber products.

If I'm reading the story right, most of the money raised will be used for "regulatory oversight". The lumber producers were already paying these fees. The article states, "California producers currently pay six to eight times more regulatory fees than out-of-state producers.".

So, instead of lumber producers paying the regulatory fees, the consumers are now being charged for them via the 1% tax? Now that's legislation that will build the economy and get back California's competitive edge. NOT!

No talk of getting rid of any part of the regulatory oversight that ends up costing California producers much more than the other states. We just charge the consumer instead of the company. The government side of the equation stays the same, or even grows.

So typically Californian, and typically Chesbro.
